Default 2006 sportsman 800- SHOULD I BUY ?

Looking at a 2006 Sportsman 800 , with 125 miles, it has big tires and wheels, not sure what brand, orginal tire and wheels come with it (no miles on them), winch, handwarmers/thumbwarmers, front and rear bumpers, polaris snow plow, gun case, skid plates, rear removable box, Elka rear shocks, (with stock orginals), K&N air filter and trailer (small 5x8 steel). He wants $4600. Is this a good deal ?
Any known problems with the machine? I'm new to this. Thanx
P.S. ITS the Camo one.

i may give up to $6,000 because of everything that comes w/ it but no more then that as you can almost brand new ones for $800 more. imo.

The shocks alone are $1300.00 a pair for the rear, and I guess the big tire and wheel set was close to $1000. Just wondering if there is any problems with model, or service bulletins.

i had an 06' and the only real issue is that it throws alot of heat of the right side and you have tyo keep the radaitor clean so it doesnt overheat. the access. on the bike are nice for sure, but as he just said for the new ones prices are hard to beat and the 08's are the HO's models w/ a few more poines.

The best price for a new one (09) I can get here in CT is $6600. Buy the time I add the extras plus sales tax I will be over $8000. If I sell the trailer and the snowplow, I will be under 6K. I know its an 06, but i will still have about 4k in extras. (2) sets of tires, rack ext frt &rear, bumpers frt & rear 3000# winch, rear cargo box, gun scabbard, Elka suspension, hand thumbwarmers. This quad has only 31 hours, and no damage. Somebody side with me?

If you buy it see what everyone did for the fixes. My cousin has that model and a friend of mine (Non-camo) but their problems was melting plastic. Not sure if extra tapping, or pipe coating did the trick. Stendori is a expert here, did you have to do that with your former one?

Sounds like a great deal with the extras! those Elka suspensions are high dollar! What kind of wheels were they?

Not sure on the wheels and tires, but I know their high dollar. This guy went top of the line everything. I talked to the Polaris dealer it came from they did all the work, and I think I'm gonna buy it. Have to sell the plow and trailer though, don't need them. Will buy it in about a week when I back from vacation. Thanks for taking my side.
