Default Sp 700 electrical problem

I tried starting my 2002 700 today for the first time in a few weeks. It cranked over fine and started, but ran rough while trying to adjust choke and give throttle and then died (not uncommon). Tried starting again, with starter spinning strongly, and all at once lost all electrical power. Speedo not showing any sign of power. Battery checks good.

Did I blow a fuse or possibly something more expensive? Checked under the hood and those two fuses or circuit breakers inside the plastic pouches both show to be intact when checked with a meter. Is there another fuse somewhere or something else I can check with a meter to possibly locate the problem without going to the dealer?

Thanks for any help.
