Default 93 polaris 350l 4x4

i have a problem with the 4x4 engagin automaticly the left tire pulls more will not disengage with the button

from what ive read it means the armeture plates have become magnetized causing this problem...or it could be a short giving the plates power to engage 3x4

A broken or weak spring may cause this. As the spring is designed to retain the rollors while in 2 wheel drive.

the older polaris use tranny fliud in the hubs. Reemove the allen screw in the center of the hub and fill it half full of fluid. Hopefully this clears it up. Did you also try disengaing the button and then backing up 15 feet to disengage the hubs. This just happened to me also.i thought th fluid by the right wheel was brake fluid at first. But it was from the hub.
