Default knocking sound

Hello I posted about 6 months ago about my Polaris 08 500 HO making all kinds of loud clunking and knocking sounds coming from engine or transmission. I took it in to dealer and had service tech listen to it he said its all normal sounds. He said the engine and trany clunk and it amplifies through the whole machine. I did have 2 different techs look at it and listen. The machine is running OK however this is really a strange sound. It sounds good at idle then when you get on it, it starts to knock.I don't know if they really all do that or if the dealer is handing me a line. All I know is I had a number of snowmobiles, motorcycles, boats etc. and never heard machinery sound like this. The machine has about 500 miles on it.I love the machine otherwise just worried a little. Can some of you guys put some light on this area. Have any of you had this concern.

Thanks
Central Wisconsin Rider.

Without hearing the sound personally i cant tell ya much. I would load it up and take it to a variety of dealers, may be a far drive but it will prolly still be cheaper than a new drivetrain. Just get alot of techs to look at it other than your usual dealer. IMO
