Default Scrambler 400 Question

I have the 2000 polaris scrambler 400 4x4 i got to take it out on sat. and it didnt break down which is good but when its at full throttel it flattens out and wont open up and screem. Also when i come to a hill i need to get it going and power band in order to get up the hill. Do you think i need to drop to a lower main jet again. I just did alot of work to it, and i want it to run good so i can take me wife out next weekend. Please any suggestions would be nice i am tired of taking everything apart changing these jets and clip height. I was told to start 2 sizes bigger from stock from aaen, but i am at the original 240 main jet before the mods. should i go to a 230 and try again

That seems a bit on the rich side, have you checked your plug for color? And check the electrode to see where the plug is burning, you want it as close to the corner as you can get it, but not going down

Default sounds about rite

I did do a plug check and it looks ok not wet or burnt. I am going to drop to a 230 main and see what will happen. I thought i was to rich but thats how we bought it with a 240 main jet and ran good. do you think adding the exhaust and the reed cage it could have richend it up.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Check the secondary clutch before messing with the jetting
