Default scrambler 500 pipe (where) need umph. input

Where can I get a white bros pipe for my 500 4x4? Im looking for some low end. I will be ordering a primary spring from Ritter (higher rev= quicker engagement?) and resetting my secondary spring. Should I change the secondary spring while Im in there? Also a pipe. Im told there's not much gain in the 500 with an airbox mod. Sound right? Not worried about going much over 50mph. However, I would love for this thing to flip over backwards. I need input as to what will get me the low end. Currently has polaris white primary spring and the rest is stock. What would give me this power the quickest.

Default Pipe

You sure picked an impossible pipe to find! I check all over and came up empty handed. You may have to go with an FMF.

That pipe is gettting very hard to find.Keep an eye on Ebay.
What you are looking for can be fopund with a good roller secondary and proper clutching.
You gain a little withthe pipe and airbox but not like you do with clutching.

So am I better off investing in a clutch kit to start or a pie and filter kit? Is a roller secondary a direct replacement for the secondary all together or just a piece used within the secondary? These things are hard to dial in. Is there a cheat sheet anywhere that lists different spring combinations and there reactions on the quad?

Is anyone else running a white bros pipe? When I called Ritter he explained he could set me up with a nice primary spring, possibly airbox/carb mod, and filter. He also says that if I had a pipe he would set me up with a different setup. Now I dont want to invest a couple hundred dollars only to need new stuff when I get a pipe. Im looking for some experianced help without having to throw down tons of wasted money. I figure a nice pipe and airbox mod has opened up every other quad I've had. From there Im expecting to see more from clutching. However, if the pipe isnt going to give me the gains Im expecting then Id rather invest in clutching. Im looking for the best gains. If I need to invest in a team roller secondary and/or a complete clutch kit then I will. I dont want to throw down $400 or more and not see the difference in power.

Clutching on the 500s is not as critical as on the 400s where you clutch to the pipe.
If you want to try a decent set up get a Dalton blk/white spring,10MB weights and either an old HPD violet secondary or the Aaen blue. You will have about $50 in springs and go on ebay to find the weights(sled weights are the same)

How does the dalton spring compare to the polaris white? Where can I get the springs? Are the weights easy to install?

More engagement rpms and a little higher shift out.You can get the springs from RcR he has a Dalton tat compares to those I mentioned. The weights are cheaper off Ebay.
