Default Wheel Spacer Questions

Im looking at getting some spacers for my 2002 400 Sportsman. Does anyone know what the bolt pattern is? And also what is the strongest type of spacer that i can get for a cheap price? All i need is an inch spacer, or even less. I dont know if they make a smaller spacer than that. Thanks in advance.

I believe all recent Sportsman's are 4-156 on the bolt pattern... not sure on yours though? Email someone at one of the places that sells wheels. They should know.

I've heard of 3/4" spacers, but never seen them. Usually the smallest is 1".

Strong & cheap don't go together in the same sentence. Get good ones... billet aluminum.

i would say your tight on the bolt patten, and also stay w/ a 1" and it will be fine.

Default Spacers

4x156 is the standard pattern. There was a set in the garage sale section that were pretty reasonable. Can't remeber what machine they were off of but they should fit yours. They were highlifter spacers so you could check their website to see if they will fit your machine. Other than that check craigslist and ebay. Unless you can find a used set reasonable you will spend a few $(not too bad tough).
