Default 1.5" wheel spacers

Why do alot of you not care for wheel spacers? Are they bad for the machine? Do they wear out wheel bearing that much faster?

most opt for offset rims. Im runnin 1.5" aluminum spacers...no problem....the big issue is runnin 3" spacers...tend to wear out bearings n such. The 1.5" is fine!

I'm runnig 1.5" spacers on my x2. I've run them on many atv's and a rhino with no problems. Just make sure to buy the billet aluminum type that are full circle, not the lug nut extenders. Those will not hold up. Some people choose to flip the tie rod ends instead of using spacers. It is free vs $75 for spacers. That can arguably cause more damage than spacers. The best option, of course, is to buy new rims with the right offset.
