HD springs (Front)
Hey R, I got the Polaris hd springs for the front of the X2. I have a winch but not a plow. It really improved the ride and went from too soft to a little stiff suspension-wise. It steers better than when the front end would dive and sag. I like it better in the whoops now and it is excellent going downhill. No more bottoming out the suspension.

Okay how do the Polaris HD compare to Highlifter? Anyone know of a comparison?
Thanks for all the great info.
Cheers,

Guess it would be hard to compare the EPI/HL/Polaris HD - without riding the same machine on same trail.
How did other settle between the EPI, the Highlifter, or the Polaris HD?

The price was right for the Polaris HD springs. Around $50.

For the set correct?
Did you install yourself? If so, how much of a job was it? I know some have used the small tie downs to compress the springs.

Rick, although I try to read these forums regularly, I typically do not lend any insight to the questions being asked. In this case however, I will try to help. I have a 2003 500 HO and a County Plow. I had a sagging problem and I installed the EPI springs and they cleared up the problem immediately. I did give up some ride comfort but the squatting was virtually eliminated.
Hope this helps

I put the HD springs on the front and back first day I bough the ATV. They should come stock with them I think.
