It is also posted in the honda forum, but I thought I would bring it to the polaris one. To see a brand new Raptor roll down a hill watch the video at: http://www.exriders.com/raptor.shtml

I couldn't believe my eyes, thats a lot of money going straight down the drain or the hill for that matter. I would cry if I was the owner. If the owner of that Raptor reads this, I am greatly sorry for you. You have my simpathy.

That would really suck. I remember when I rolled my quad. It just flipped twice on a hill like that. Nothing major boke, but it still had my heart in my throat watching it. I can't imagine what went through this poor guys head when it was happening.

WOW !! Does the person who shot the video or the rider post on these boards ? I'm curious as to how that happened. The hill doesn't look that steep. My first thought was that he downshifted too hard and pulled it over backward, but it doesn't sound like that.

That hill was very steep.I used to video tape people comming down some steep Black Diamond runs when skiing and when I played them back the hill looked like they were not steep at all.Snap shots and video just can not capture the grade of the land well.

It sounds to me like he stalled it out, though I can't say for sure. You're right though, it doesn't look that steep, but if he couldn't hold it with the brakes it must have been.
