i have a 2002 yamha raptor and ive seen guys put R1 1000c.c engines in it,was wondering if any one knew how to do it? how diffucult is is to do something like that?

Unless you put a polaris motor in it....maybe a 100ci v twin!

its not that hard.. just go to your local polaris dealer and buy an outlaw... lol just kidding but good luck with your motor swap..

That will be an involved swap, not to mention the electrical system since those are fuel injected. It will almost definately involve cutting and welding the fram and on a final note, the 4-cyl R1 motor makes unbeleiveable power, but will weigh so much compared to your 660 that you couldn't trail-ride with it or MX it. I doubt the frame would hold up to any jumping without reinforcement. If you're doin' it for sand drags or dirt drags or even flat track racing it will be involved but it will work. Good luck!
