Default Sportsman 90 fuel line routing

WOndering if anyone has a diagram or picture of the fuel lines on a Sportsman 90?
The previous owner had them messed up with some even capped off!

I want to get the lines back to normal to correct a bad running situation.

Thanks for any help!

There is a line that comes out of the carb and it has a red plug in the end of it. I am thinking that this is not right. Also the lines themselves seem to be a mish mash of connections that do not correspond with the only picture I have found.

The line that comes out of the top of the carb should have a cap on it. Mine also has a red cap on it. You should be able to tell the fuel connection as it should have a small barb (thats what I call it anyway). Just above the idle screw mine has a small brass fitting that you put the small hose on. I think it might be a oil line hose but I am not sure. On the bottom of the float bowl there should be a overflow line the drains excess gas to below the engine.

Thanks for the info.

The line that is capped off...is it located on the carb where the intake manifold connects to the carb? My fuel line appears to enter the carb near the top of the carb and travels down to the fuel bowl.

Also could you tell me where your vent line is routed? Where does the end of it end up?

Thanks!

Try to keep it up as high as you can.......The larger Sportsman's have them up under the fuel tank area ..........where the air intake is......to keep them dry and some-what clean!!!!!!....Caper......
