NGK is the best plug for price and quality. you can't go with a splitfire or any other plug to gain anything.

I like Splitfires. They don't foul like NGKs do.

IMO Splitfires are a waste of $$. I bought 1 once and gained nothing. I dont have any problems with fouling NGKs at all. you can buy 4 NGK to the price of 1 Splitfire, and have just as good of a plug.

Well this's my thoughts on plugs, NGK in the best plug for your mach (.........) You can buy plugs that cost $40.00 or more each. It's up to you, this is how it works, ( Each mach is different so make sure you know what you are doing). On my 2000 KLX 300 for sample only. You can run the stock cr8e I'm doing this from mem but you will get the idea. Or you can run an cr9ek both are NGK. But the cr9ek has one extra thread on it, which makes it sit farther down the bore. Makes at least 1 H.P. more than a stock plug, but you have to use anti-seize on it. And clean or change the plug after each ride. Just some food for thought.
