I know nothing about snowmobiles and I was wondering who sales the most snowmobiles. I'm also wondering are the polaris sleds fast or are they overweight like their 4-wheelers are.?

bombardier is the leader right now as far as snowmobiles sales are concerned. polaris was the record holder until last year when bombardier stole their crown. polaris snowmobile are wicked fast and have no weight problems. they have a lot of comments about their styling. they got incredible suspensions too but it is their famous engines that set them aparts. very powerful! as far as performance goes right now artic cat is the leader. their firecat 500, 600 and 700 machines are untouchable in the performance department and they leave anything in their respective class in the snow dust that is!!! the zr 900 is also the mightiest machine in the large snowmobile segment and at the old forge shootout it kicked every machine over there that was fool enough to confront it!

necronomicon is right on the money, new f-6 is wicked fast,,110 right from the box,the top muscle sled is the zr 900,period,ski-doo is bringing back a new mach-z 1000 sdi,,,that new 900 should be in the 160 hp range.

I am sure it will be a great sled, but as far as the "future", Arctic Cat had there 900 out for over 10 years already.
