I thought a few months ago, we pretty much decided that atv magazine review writers are not to be trused. If they brag about a honda or a polaris or
ds650 xt, or artic cat 500 we should listen with the same grain of salt. right?
I think that some people bought what they hoped was the best atv ever, and if a review comes along that says some other atv is better. Do you want to sell your atv? Is that what some are worried about? To be riding what must be the best atv?
I own the 2000 aka model polaris xpedition 425 cc 5-speed. I already know that I do not own the top atv, so I am not intimidated. I know that when I am in the deep woods and some times off the trail,
my atv performs for me pretty well. I call my atv a mini-tank. I can drive over some rough stuff and
push over logs, etc. the 4-stroke is my favorite.
My atv is not irs and is bumpy and not as stable as the sp500. I know because One time when I was riding with Jaime and the yellow sp 500 2000 + model; I tested the sp500. I thought the irs was pretty special. I would say much smother ride and better handling. I
still love my machine and Consider my atv meaner in the woods if you know what I mean. The sp 500 had better clearance for going through deep mud.
What will get me jealous is if polaris does make a
xpedition 625 cc or something like that. I would/will want it. I will admit that. I am not jealous because I do not own the sp500, even after seeing for myself what it can do. In the deep woods, I like my tank. If you own atv xyz and your company makes a much improved
xyz atv, Isn't it natural to want the better of your favorite brand and or style?
I have noticed lately, that I am buying fewer atv magazines these days. rangerchet
