Frowns

I see a lot of frowns on the Honda forum over the Rubicon. It looks like a nice quad to me but we wont know how good until we have a shootout. I hate to say this guys but until our Mighty Sportsman loses a Shootout Polaris proably will not change a thing. I am happy with mine but all things can be improved, but I want go into that now.
On the other hand the 300 Honda was built for many years virtualy unchanged it is just very realiable so take a look at this Polaris.

I had about all of the Hondas' statring with a 90 three wheeler. When I got up to the BIG RED 250 with reverse I thought I was in heven. Then in '88 my son bought a 300 4x4' I knew I had to have one. Well I have had 2 of them-- a '91 and a '98. If you really look at these wheelers you can see that Honda used much of the Big Red parts in making the 300. With approx 15 or so years with most of the components being tested they are certainly one of the most reliable wheelers out there. On the down side the components are a decade old in design. The 500sp has been out about 3yrs. I think. Already they have made some improvements in the electrical system and guages. I am still not sure about the spedo sweating on my '99 being a problem. Anyway, after starting with a 90 and now at 500cc I think you are right-- They could stop here and refine what they have. Gardner10
