My 1999 ranger 6x6 runs great for 30 minutes, then it cuts off. If I leave it alone for a few minutes, it will start up? Please help!!!!!

When it quits running, pop your seat, disconnect fuel line from carb, turn key on and see if steady fuel flow from line. This is first thing I can think of. If flow is good, then check for spark, plug out and in the cap, grounded on head, crank over see if good spark (make sure fuel line back on and no gas around plug!!)

My 04 was doing the same thing. Lift the seat and near the top of the engine you will see a bunch of wires running along there; I'm betting one or more of those wires is rubbed through and shorting out. I had the craziest symptoms and I too checked the fuel pump, all kinds of things.
