All of my ATV riding is on my ranch in Nevada and in the adjacent approximate 1000 square miles of high desert (~5000' above sea level). I bought my first ATV to haul stuff around on my ranch. That was before I discovered how rich my area is in mineral wealth. These days, fully 50% of my riding is prospecting and exploring in the back country. I prospect for gold, gem stones and meteorites and I explore ghost towns and old ruins.
