Default home fuel injection experiment

hey, i was thinking, anyone consider messing around trying to make a ported FI system work on a simple single cyl engine?? like a ATV engine?? i was thinking of using the pulse off CDI box to pulse an injector, perhaps a second one to be able to adjust pulse timing. and for throttle, either vary the fuel pressure or the length of the pulse. all i really need is an adjustable pulse generator, to adjust the delay from cdi signal and also adjust the length of the pulse. i have a ton of old car parts, and also a ton of time due to a lack of employment, so any intellegent input??

i know GM ported fuel injectors work on a ground pulse circuit with a 5v constant, and i believe duration of the opening is controlled directly by length of pulse.....if i could build somekind of circuit where i could vary timing and delay of pulses from the hall sensor, i think it could be done....

im going to do some experimenting with this, ill keep you guys updated, and if anyone has any info to share, lets hear it!
