I have a 2000 blaster with rear turf tamer tires on douglas rims, front holeshot tires on douglas rims, dg nerfs, shockwears, kill switch, and fmf pipe and silencer, i have 85 dollars and need to know what to get as my next mod. i am thinking about reeds and reed spacer, but should i get boyessen carbon reeds for 35.00 or pro series for 20.00 i saw a mossaberger reed spacer with gaskets for 17.00 to but if i got cheap reeds and spacer it'd only come to about 37.00 what do i get with about the other 50.00?also do i need to rejet with these products and has anyone used a mossaberger reed spacer?

Handlebars or steering stabalizer or just come to my event(Flat River Grand Prix) and race in the morning and ride the poker run in the afternoon on sat June 24th.

For 85 bucks have your head milled down a few thousandths. You already have the other good mods and reeds will not make any huge difference.

The other post about bars or damper would be good improvements to your control & reduction of arm pump or general fatigue. Lose the stock steel bars for some Renthal alloy bars.
Just as a side note, years ago when old man Ferrari was still alive & active in his car company, someone complained to him about the terrible brakes on his cars. He replied,"I don't make my cars to stop, I make them to go!".
It sounds like you have the go power and now you need stop power, so you might save the $85 towards a brake upgrade.

Reeds and the Blaster jet kit that LRD markets. The reeds will help with throttle response, but not likely to improve peak HP. The jet kit again tends to smooth out some of the flat spots in the throttle range.

It's sound advice also to look at suspension improvements. Those guys are dead on about it. You can get the engine fast, but if the rest can't keep up it's wasted money.....
