Product Review: EVS Vex Chest Protector/ RC3 Race Collar
Check out our gear review of the EVS Vex Chest Protector and Race Collar!
The Situation:
ATV riding can be a lot like traversing a battlefield. Especially when multiple quads find themselves occupying limited space. Rapidly spinning rear tires result in trail debris turned projectiles: stones, dirt *****, roots and did we mention stones? Collectively we call this stuff roost and all it takes is a good peppering once to start seeking bodily protection.
The Solution:
Whether you call them roost deflectors, chest protectors, flack jackets or shoulder pads, a hard plastic suit of armor with interior padding is just the ticket to providing protection from roost showers. And there is no shortage of options on the market from which to choose.

Have you ever used chest protectors or race collars? Are they generally useful? What do you think about these products?
