I need some help i was riding my quad today and it starting cutting out. When i would go to about half throttle it would just break up and stale the quad. Wouldnt even get into 2nd gear. After sitting awhile would have no problems and run well for 10 mins then after that would start acting up againl. The quad is an 04 if that matters never heard of anyone having the same problem and advice would go much apprecatited!!! Thanks for anything you can offer!

check your gas cap vent , same thing has happend to me .

K&N type filter w/ pre-cleaner, dynatek CDI,39 FCR w/ratstack ,160 MJ,48 PJ ,pluged LJ,DJ needle 4th clip, nerf bars ,six pack rack, 1.5 warn winch,skid plates, alloy bars,razer II rear tires, 13.6:1 Wiseco piston,p&p,hot cams I&E,450r air boot, 450r front front brake ,SS brake lines, p-brake off,450r front shocks ,40+hp

ya ,try running with the hose tied to the bars

Ill give it a try would you have any other ideas if that isnt it? Like a bad plug or something?

Can anyone else help me out? I tried replacing the plug nothing still same thing I cleaned out the plates in the carb but did not clean the whole thing out. Could it be the jets? Any help would be great!
