I have a 2005 ranger 500cc and its just to gutless...i was wondering if anyone knows some really decent power mods that would help me out a lot. i cant have an unreliable engine because use the ranger for work and play.

i was thinking that my only option was to swap in a 700 or 800cc engine from another polaris. but if anyone knows power mods that'd help alot.

Check out Dirty Dawg Performance and Hi Performance Designs. Dirty Dawg can do clutching / engine mods and HPD can do intake / exhaust.

clutch kits make all the diference in the world beyond what you would expect maybe a chip and a clutch kit would serve you up well

The Rangers use the 500 engine but it deos not have the 500 H.O high duration cam I believe. The High duration cam would wake things up a bit.

There also a 628cc big bore stroker kit available from these these guys.
