I just won the bid on a '99 ranger 6x6 on Ebay. I would like to get opinions from owners of this machine. As well as things I need to look out for, mods. that I might want to make. Any and all info would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob

I havent seen any of those on the trail. herd form the a park worker said sportsman 6x6 went everywhere the my sportsman went. Ive thought about one but seems like there more that could break but If work on your stuff shouldnt be much of a problem. also someone told me that when the 6x6 get stuck they really get stuck, hope you got a winch.

Keep every u-joint greased regularly. Check for play in u-joints,replace before they damage yoke and then gets expensive. Check front strut ball joints,if real loose, replace before they pull out and cause damage! Other than that maintenance same as regular ranger or atv. Good luck.

Rob I also own a 99 6x6 Ranger had it 2 years. Only problem took it to local Polaris dealer and 1500.00 later . I have hand controls on mine and steering is very hard. Other than that strong machine Robert
