Does anyone know if the Rt40 will fit the RZR? I assume it will, but looking at the mount area makes me wonder.

Forgive me for being ignorant, but what is a "RT40" and what does it do?

Thanks

The RT40 is a 4000lb. Warn winch designed for UTV's, but since the RZR is almost 1000 lbs (way more with my butt in it) i thot id go with the bigger winch.

rzr's have lots of winch room but i think there's an issue with a mounting plate..
on mine i just made my own, the mounting plates for them are really no big deal..
cut an 8x5" piece of plate, cut a piece of 1/8" wall 2" angle iron to 5" weld that edge to your plate, and put some small gussets between the two. then cut a hole in the middle of the angle iron (for your winch line to go through) lay that up in the space above the front diff and mark your holes..
drill your holes then put it back and set your winch and drill it's holes..

it's a little tricky making the mount to hold the fairlead, but not that big a deal..
