We have 4 650 Prowlers and we broke 6 rear axles and 2 front axes and 2 stirring arms ,, there are after market axles ,,, Gorilla makes axles but not sure about stirring arms ,,, love the machine but hate the brake downs ,,,,, we spent 3 days down by Superior Arizona
I have an 2007 with 400 miles with a $1000 repair bill at the shop right now. The real problem is 99% of its use it to take the trash to the road. Its had no abuse whatsoever. It had a bent tie rod when I took it in for its first service. I think it was problally bent in original shipping because when it came out of the shop It steered better than it ever had before. This time they say It spun a bearing in the transmission whatever that means. The initial cost seems to be only the beginning! Two months out of warranty and no help from Arctic Cat so the dealer says.
Same problem here ,,Dealer doesn't want to cover warranty stuff ,,, real quick to sell you product but REAL slow about fixing it C&C Cycle in Chariton Iowa ,,,
07 Prowler, 750 miles on it. Broke rear knuckle, axle, and shock. Didn't buy the extended warranty, My Dealer covered everything including labor. Can't say anything bad about the product or the service. There is not a bad Cat out there, just Bad Dealers!!!!
