I use my Prowler every 2-3 weeks and the battery tends to get weak. My Harley Softail has a trickle charging plug for period of low use. Any ideas on connecting the same type of thing to the Prowler or even better CAN YOU TRICKLE CHARGE A PROWLER THROUGH THE 12VDC POWER CONNECTION (i.e. old days cigarette lighter) without direct connection to the battery. Should work?

I picked up a battery tender for my wheeler......it came with a pig tail that you leave connected to the battery......when you leave it for long periods just hook up the pigtail to the tender and plug it into the wall outlet.............
it senses when the battery needs charging and will keep it at a full charge......

Im not sure if charging thru the power connection will work?

you should be able to charge through the dc outlet but you would be better off directely to the battery
