2003 Diesel Mule Has Water In Oil ?

hey guys, any thoughts why all of a sudden my Mule has coolant in the oil. I have a foamy stuff under the oil cap and on the dip stick. i drained the coolant, removed the water pump and i see a little rust in side the head. could this just be a gasket problem. a water pump problem or head gasket ? Any thoughts on where to start
thanks jon

I`m talking to the kawasaki dealer about buying a 08 3010 4x4 diesel so your problem is of interest to me. I don`t have any experience with this diesel enging but other engines I have worked on that show water in the oil usually have a blown head gasket, cracked head,or cracked block. About the only way to know for sure is to tear it apart. It might be really useful if you were to get a factory service manual and check the trouble shooting section specific to the engine. there should be a ghost illustration showing an exploded view of the engine that might be useful in helping to pin point where the problem lies.
As an aside, I wonder if you would give us your evaluation of the diesel mule. Thanks Butch

my problem turned out to be a cracked head. it was very small. i had to scrub the suit off the head to find it. as far as the diesel mules go they are fine machines. mine has 10,500 miles on it. yes that does say 10k. im in need of a ring job but other then that ive done nothing to it but oil changes. the engine still runs strong.
my only complaint, i had to add my own cup holder.
