Ok, i've got a cannodale moto and the right hub keeps stripping, i've gone through 3 hubs in the past 6 months... the second time i bought a used hub off ebay and the third time i bought a new one and it just stripped out again. The axle splines are in perfect condition, and the crown nut is always tight as a virgins pussy... If theres no reasons for this happening, is there something i can do to help prevent the 4th one from stripping out so fast??

Do you have enough spacers in the axle. Is the nut bottoming out ? They must be retorqued a couple times as if run looose for any amount of time strippes the splines. Use green locktite on the splines . Not very common to have hub problems but it does happen.

yeah, I have the spacer, and the nut was so tight I had to turn the 1/2 pistol air ratchet to 145lbs. to get it off..I'll try the loctite when my next hub comes in... thanks
