could this problem be attributed to the brake booster? are fluid levels for the brakes all adequate?

Does it idle after you start it or when it is just sitting there when you dont give it any gas? P.S. i had a cannondale cannibal and they are high performance and high maintanance. Unless you are planning on dumping your life savings into it I would suggest selling it.

19Dan1988,

In several of your responses you have suggested selling it or spending your life savings. How about learning about the quad and doing a little Preventitive Maintance, your cost will go down accordingly. This would of course apply to ANY manufactures quad.

Now to the question, the motor should Idle around 2,000 rpm. You might also check to make sure your clutch is properly adjusted.
