trying to decide between the 500 Renegade and the 450 Wolverine. Love the look of the renegade but haven't read anything about it. Looking for some real world opinions. Pros and Cons not sales pitches. want a 4x4 but also want the performance of a sport. Riding will be mostly trails and pasture with some mud and wet areas. Want to know top speed. low and Mid torque, and how well she will fly. Also Mods available to improve any and all the above.

I have rode the renegade 800 and it is one ba machine! The only thing I can tell ya about 500 is in a Outlander it is fastest in its class of 500's!!!!
had a chance to ride one the other day. man i was amazed at the power that little 500 had. it seemed like its power range never ended. real easy to control and the acceleration of it is amazing. i raced a few hondas and yamaha sport quads and i was either in front or right there on them. ( some of them had some bad a** mods to them too) i recommend the renegade over the wolverine although the price is a little high. mods for these are just about as much as any other quad. k/n air filters range from 50-75$, power commanders about 250-290$ just look up the renegade on google for some more details torque/horsepower and etc. hope this helps a little
forgot to add don't go through to deep of water cause the belts get wet and tend to slip. other than that i haven't heard anything bad from my buddies who have them. if you get it happy ridin and hope you enjoy it.
I just got back home for a riding trip where I picked up my new Renegade 800x, I love can am, the bike although not fully broken in was amazing, from the power to the handling. If you dont mind shelling out a few more bucks, Can am is the way to go.
