Ok gents, what i have here is a 95 magnum 4x4 425, i just bought a new air filter because the old one i found was killing my motor (stalling) now with the new filter it will idle and go untill you get oh i say 1/4 throttle then it sounds like it's gagging, it backfires the whole nine.. i think if i held it full it would blow! what would cause this and how do i fix it, it runs ok with out the air filter not good or great just ok.... so what do you think?

did you change styles of filter - OEM to K&N or something?? if so i am leaning toward the fuel mixture - either adjust or rejet.

It sounds lean but it doesn't make any sense that it runs better with the air filter removed than with it instaled ?
