i just put one on and i get some backfire and flames lol. out the back. i have a dyno jet kit on it for a K and N air filter. do i need to turn someting a couple clicks?

does it run good? if it does dont worry some high perforamance engines will do that thats just means its a lil rich on the fuel but sometimes you need it that rich to get the best power but when you let off the gas it builds up and will ignite in the eghaust and make the backfire sometimes with flames.

it kind of bogs down when i pin the gas. it has a dynojet kit in it? any sugg.

It sounds to me like it is a lil fat lean it out a lil bit do you still have the air mixture screw? maby you just have to go down on one of the jet sizes or something idk i didn't do a jet kit yet but i would lean out the air mixture screw on my polaris scrambler 500 that has the sportsman 500 engine in it.

If it is backfiring on decel you need to go to a larger pilot jet or turn your fuel screw out. It should not pop or backfire at all it is not a full open system were that is more common,
Also make sure there are no ex leaks by the connecting points.

My quad was doing the same thing, I had richen it further to make it stop. Your fuel screw is for idle to quater throttle. Your main jet is what controles the full throttle.
