I use a Mule 610 here at work, it has low ground clearance allways getting stuck, the max speed of 24 mph is a little slow for me. my buddy has a Ranger 4x4 EFI 500, that in my opinion has a much smoother ride and will go about 40 mph.

i woundn't even consider the kazuma mammoth, if they're like the rest of chinese atv's they're crap. i have a prowler, am very happy with it, owned it 18 months now with only one small issure, i had a axle seal leaked, cost me $5 for the seal and took appox 45 minutes to replace it other than that it's been great, i have almost a hundred hours on it. my opinion is to check out and test ride all the utv's before deciding which one's best for you.

Get the Arctic Cat prowler XT. It's rides better than a rhino, and a polaris. Had mine for a year and love it. Has a 72" blade on it right now and handles snow with ease.

A Rhino will go more places, better in mud than anything else, has a lot of aftermarket parts available, imo rides better than the rest, is smaller overall but you won't be cramped has mud protection mounted inside the frame unlike the prowler, has less belt slipping problems than the rest, and imo looks a lot better.

i see you haven't been doing your home work, the prowler much better in the mud than the rhino and ranger, also the prowler doesn't roll over as easy as the rhino, how many deaths, broken legs, arms and lawsuits has the rhino caused?

I never said the rhino wasn't tippy billl2099, but it won't be with aftermarket tires. I've seen firsthand a Rhino beat a prowler in the mud. The rhino made it through without barely spinning the tires, and the prowler didn't make it through, and once the rhino pulled it out, the belt started slipping. btw the Rhino had stock 25s and the Prowler had 27s. here's a pic of the Prowler stuck.

In the ATVRIDER mag. that just came out they did an extreme test of the prowler, to any thinking of buying a SXS it's a must read. Arcticle ended with "The prowler is one of the most extreme offroad vehicle's out there". need i say more

Read the dirtwheels test of the prowler, rhino, and ranger. They say the Rhino is one of the best offroad and extreme terrain vehicle ever.

I drive a 660 rhino with 3" lift and 27's and never have problems at all, it gets stuck less than the quads, most of the time, and i have rode with prowlers and they always seem to break and have problems, mainly overheating.

If speed is not an issue, the check out an Argo. They are not fast but are unstoppable. They make a 6x6 or an 8x8. Rubber tracks are available as well as an outboard motor bracket.(If the hunting is not good, might as well go fishing)
Seriously give the argo some condideration. They are North American made in Ontario Canada since 1961. Just type in Argo on your search engine and it will take you to their website.
Godd luck on your search and let us know your final decision.

I have to put a word in for rangers. We just bought one last month (08 XP 700) ans we love it. I worked at a dealership for three years that sold Polaris and Yamaha so we didn't go into the purchase blind. I had logged many hours on both machines in the fields and in the dirt. If it were up to me I would have went with the new rhino 700, but we, wife and dad, liked the idea of the 3 pass seat with the ranger. It rides lika any other polars atv, great! The box is huge and handles loads with ease. Its got a hilliard front diff, same as sportsmans, and a dana/spicer rear locking diff, works great. I have no experience with the prowler, but did look at them. I like the detroit locking rear end in the new 700 and 14" wheels. Lots of good features, but just not enough out there.
In the mud you cant go wrong with any, they all have rear posi, and locking front diffs. If you want to see what they can do in mud look on you tube.

When I was a teenager in the 1960s, "made in Japan" held the same connotation as "made in China" does today. However, we didn't ridicule people back then with the same language and level of vitriol that you see today. It was mostly good natured ribbing. With that said, I researched all the side by side utility vehicles for the past few months. After comparing all the features and pricing offered by all of the UTV manufacturers, I made the decision to purchase a Kazuma Mammoth. So far I am quite pleased with it.
With all this information available, I didn't feel nervous about the purchase. With less money initially invested, I am now more inclined to spend on customizing the vehicle. I bought it primarily to use for yardwork so I can use my diesel tractor less in the yard. It is turning out to be much more fun and convenient to use than I ever anticipated. I bought my Mammoth from a dealer so it was fully prepped and inspected before delivery.
Just my 2 cents....

I'm thinking of looking at a Polaris X2, Ranger, Rhino or 1 of the Offshore type SxS so I'll be asking lots of questions around here.
My needs for a unit are for 2 Up riding, to haul firewood, move my 12ft trailor, move my log splitter and tow my Ice sled around up here, I'm getting too old/tired to do it my-self now days. So ease of use, comfort & utility are high on my list of wants/needs. I'd prefer something with EFI and a 500cc would be enough for me, better fuel economy. I've also thought about a Polaris x2 type with some hauling room but also good for 2 up and it is easy on turf, another important feature to me.

It it is going to tow large loads and/or carry large loads, the Ranger has the best numbers. You can even get a 6 person Ranger now. It's huge. Sporty ones are the Rhino, Prowler and the new Kawasaki Teryx. Saw one yesterday. It seemed a little sparce on features though. Then there is the RZR by Polaris. Nasty fast but not much on the utility end.

I have had a Supermach 700cc UTV for a little over a month and it is awesome!!! I have out run both a Polaris Ranger and a Rhino. It looks just like the Rhino and most of the parts are the same. Some people are saying that supermach is a chinese off brand started by Yamaha because the were tired of losing sales to the Chinese products. I ordered mine through www.supermachusa.com
