I had been searching for the best price on Batteries (12N-9-4B1) for my 07 Jets and found the best price and availability from Napa at $28. They are a Wet acid so you need to fill them (Acid is included) but the vent tube is located where Jet installed the Battery wiring through the plastic. You can tell the Plastic Manufacturer had intended the Vent tube to be there from the beginning but Jet installed the Gel battery and used the hole for the wires. I had to drill a new hole for the wires and ran them in front of the old hole and it worked good!
And check your wires mine where already worn through a couple places because of how they are installed there.

Just thought this might be helpful to other Jet owners!

Thanks outofline !!! - I've been keeping my eye out for a place that has a "priced right" #9 battery. Walmart, Tractor Supply, K-Mart, etc. - either they don't carry it at all or it is $50 -$60. I guess that it is a slow moving "non-standard" size. Great find!! Thanks for sharing!

I have a 90 cc jetmoto quad (Alpine) that has a battery that has never been able to hold a charge. Does anyone have a Napa, pep boys, walmart etc. # for this battery? It measures 4 1/2" long x 4 1/4" high x 2 3/4" wide. I have purchased the other battery mentioned for my 250 cc Jetmoto from Napa and it works fine. But it is too big for this little 90 cc.
