I am tired of adjusting the carb on my sons Dingo 150. I am looking for info for the best replace and go carb that I can put on it that also has a manual choke. He has had this thing only 6 months it has run perfectly well except I have done 4 carb adjustments, they are either not holding or I am not doing them perfectly. Granted I don't know all I need to know about the carb, but if someone could share what I possibly could be doing wrong or even send me a service manual I would really appreciate it.

If you want to give us a call tomorrow we have replacement jets for this carb. They have been working well!

how would jetting the carb make it more stable?

The stock jets are small (in my eyes anyway) by adding larger jets you will get more (and better) flow of fuel & air. This will make the ATV run better. We have had good luck with it but its up to you....

John,
I just got these new jets but have a question, is there any good sites which talk someone through installing the new jets. I have read some good postings here in the forum but just wanna make sure I do it right.

Thanks I will take a look. Also how hard is it to remove the factory carb? Can you remove it without taking out the whole block. I just bought a high performance carb and will use the factory one as a backup, re-jetted of course.

The carb is just clamped on, one on the intake and one on the air box. Then unplug the choke,disconnect the throttle cable and wiggle it out. I have two different carbs one John at raceway sent me to try which is a mikuni and I bought a keihin 30mm pump carb for the other. I ditched the air box and use a unipod that clamps on. It is way easier to clean and you can just look at it and see if it is dirty. Knowing what I know now I could have just re-jetted the stock carb and I think it would have worked out well. I have had no problems at all and am very happy with both atvs.

Thanks. That site had a great set of instructions from MRP on the carb instal. Gave me enough to build my confidence in that I won't fra@#K is up. I am also gonna tweak the CVT as well. I am jsut having fun tinkering with my Dingo to see what I can make it do.
