all of a sudden my jm smells like something is burning and when it ildes for like a cuple minuets i can see the heat come off of it when i turn it off what could it be it has oil in it (amsoil) and i just put it in i and cleaned out the carb what could it be ????

you need to put a temp gauge on it , e-bay has them for around $60, these gauges will fit in the oil line coming from the engine to the cooler, takes 5 minutes or less to install and will give you a wealth of information, the smell might be coming off the engine or exhaust pipe if you recently spill some oil or washed your quad lately,
