Anyone have any experience with the Cherokee toy haulers by Forest River? I am looking at a 27 ft that has the largest storage area for hauling I have ever seen. I found an onlinedealer that seriously undercuts the cost by 10 grand. I believe it is factory direct pricing.... anyway it is a heck of a deal... Built the way I want it for 23K and some change.... We are talking almost 23 ft storage, and it has a fuel station, outside shower, gas grill and an 18 ft awning. Plus an extra queen over the storage in back and screen door for the back too. With upgrades to all the appliances etc... I am stoked... Almost too good to be true....

I just bought a Forest River Wolfpack recently (with open deck out front for the wheelers). From what I have seen these are really nice units. Nothing else that I have looked at has as nice of an interior as these. There is a place in Michigan on ebay that sells this brand real cheap. Good luck!

Thanks. I found a site online that is discounting it almost 12 grand... and I can pick it up in Indiana at the factory. I agree with you that the interiors are really nice. My only complaint would be that I'd like to see a little more load carrying capacity. It is only a little more than 2000 on the model I am looking at. You add gas, water and some food to that and I am not sure I can haul everything I want to. I keep thinking that I can stay in a lot of rental cabins for the money, and pull a lot lighter load by just hooking a trailer up to my truck and renting a cabin for the weekend. Still it would be nice to have my own rig too. Since I can write off the interest on my taxes, it isn't a real large bite out of the wallet. but.. well you know the feeling... Then there is the issue of already having two trailers in the driveway.. and one is a 22 ft enclosed that I just had to have for a part time business I am running out of it. (See my page) You put another 30 ft trailer in the driveway and I am going to get complaints from the neighbors.
