Keep gettting message must be 120 x 120.

My pic is seriouly less than 120 x 120 and only 35K. Haven't had trouble on other forums. What am I doing wrong?

Tuff one... I just put my pic in paintbrush and clicked un atribues to make sure it was less than 120 x 120. Which it wasn't... so I did a little tweekin' and shazam!!! New avatar eh?!

Yeah, I also get a message saying (There was an error reading you Author Icon. The Error was: Variable TEMPSTRUCT is undefined) Now i know my picture is fine i have the editing stuff to do it i have my picture down to about 14-16kbs and it is only 115x115 So if i can get some help that would be great!


P.S. I seen a post where i guy got his to load on GIF he changed it from JPEG i forgot how to change from JPEG to GIF??

It usually can't be more than 110x110 or it will be recognized more than 120x120. I put pics on paint and used the sketch skew and made them smaller. If anyone wants me to, I can try to get it. Just send me the picture or tell me which one on your picture page that you want.

to change your pic from a JPG to a GIF click on rename, rename the pic what you want then put . GIF or . JPG remember to put the dot first. this always works for me, hope it helps.

hrmm.. I never had this problem before either. I tried switching out my bruin avatar to a pic of my grizz, both in jpg and gif format the file is under 50kb and its 90x70 and it still don't work. I must have replied to 20 threads about this before just saying to resize..must be some sort of glitch in the forum software. I know how to resize pictures lol

I resized mine a couple of times and still got the same message, maybe I am not a pro rider and that is the difference. Oh well, I can still live with that.

Yep, picked it up a couple weeks ago. Too bad I screwed up my knee shortly after so it has 2 hours and 6 miles

The little bit I got to do was great. Can't wait to straighten the knee out..

Anyways... it must be something silly in the software for the avatars.

I changed mine to 110x110 and then119x119 and it worked fine both times. But the 120x120 gave me the same error message as noted above.

mine is 110x 108 and 28kb...its a flaw in the software.. I can't believe it hasn't been fixed yet..

some of the ones in the list dont work for some reason anymore. all the trx250R avatars are 'gone' along woth some others. just says 'author icon' now in my (and allot of others) response without a little graphic... i dont know what in the software would have caused a selective avatar burn on those...
