Anyone else getting a wide black band loading on the left side of the forums? It started as a small "x" with a lot of white space, now the x doesnt appear and the space is all black. Everything else seems to be fine, just a big spacer on the left that extends from the forum title header under the ads to the bottom line just above the "classifieds, atv forum, atvc mag, contact us" link line.

Dave playing with something maybe? Happens on both of my computers, havent changed anything since the last visit.

Aha, I see. Cool, I just hope that once the code is done, it will dissapear after we log in. I like the wide forum space instead of the menu on the left side like so many forums have (php's for example). Usually contains useless info or seldomly used links. Then again, I'm sure Dave can figure out a way to make it worthwhile as a permanent menu too.

Working on it.

After you log in I was thinking the log-in form would be replaced with some information like the number of unread private messages that you have. Perhaps your buddy list.

Any other ideas?

Maybe the top ten active threads?

It would be nice if the log in box, disappeared after we've logged in. It makes it seem like we arent logged in, when it there all the time

It's gotta go. Jeez, atleast move it to the right hand side so we don't have to start reading in the middle of the page.
If you're taking votes I say rid us of it altogether, but atleast move it to the top or the right hand side.
Thanks

I think it's pretty cool but I second the vote to have it moved to the right side isntead of the left side so it's more convenient to read the post's.

I might actually use the buddies feature now LOL.

I can build a little pop-up message that would come up and say, "you have a new private message" if you guys think that would be convenient.

I'm working on some cache stuff that will help the pages load faster too. Most of the advertising will go away at the end of December.

That might be a good idea to move the border to the right hand side. We'll see how many other people prefer it that way.
