We're pleased to provide you with a new version of our forums. The new version allows you to upload your own user icons and provides many other new enhancements. I'll post a new topic talking about the enhancements later on.
If you encounter any problems or wish to comment on the new look/features, please post your comments here.

Great upgrade Dbeck! I am already missing the user location, under the author icon though. Location is alot more useful than when they joined.
Thanks for the forums

Did you upgrade the server by chance?
Since the new forum I am getting on the site alot slower then the old forum. Even though I am on DSL! Look like you need to work on it IMO.
Other that it really look good and good job.
Have a good one

No, servers are the same. I have a few things to do. Tonight after the load is off the servers I need to create the fulltext search in the database which will help. I also need to run some analyze jobs to see where things are slow and do some tuning. I'll get them flying again. I can only get the info I need when they are live because I can't simulate 70+ users hitting the forums at the same time in test!
Also, stuff besides the forum has been a little slow and I think we might have some noise on our T-1. We're checking that too.

dbeck, nothing major, but its still listing subscription update in the subject line of the emails you get when you subscribe to a thread.

Doesn't really matter, I thought that was a temp message during the testing to keep the subscriptions from the two boards seperate. It all works for me. However theMOOSE and I have made a couple of attempts at getting the "email this thread" function to work and I still can't get it to go through, last time I tried was over 15 minutes ago and it still hasn't went through. Other than that and the issues with WYSIWYG Editor that I mentioned earlier I love it!!!!

Its an option under customize, it makes your reply box something like a Microsoft interface. It allows you to write your resposes and put in your links, bold type, bullets, etc just like in Outlook or Works. Pretty cool!
