This will be my last trip there this year. Weather permitting. Which means, I AINT GOING IF ITS RAINING !!

I will be there friday after picking up my oldest son in Ohio.

I plan on riding fri evening, saturday all day, and sun morning for a Few hours.

Anyone is welcome to meet me there or you can just stay home if this isnt a far enough in advance invitation. I understand.

Weather permitting (warm) I'll be camping. If its too cold Im getting a room. This is called being flexible.
I know some people dont understand that or just cant handle it. So if your NOT a flexible person, theres really no need to respond to this message because your not coming anyway.

Like I said, Im bringing my oldest son. He hasnt ridden the gixxer quad yet so hes in for a treat.

I have just recently learned about the Silver Lake riding area. Is it worth a 3 hour trip from Chicago with a sport quad? Is it simply a big sand dune or are there trails? Do you know if it is still open?
Thanks for any advice.

People keep coming from a lot farther than that every year. It's almost 4 hours from Chicago and 3 hours for me. I still haven't been there yet.
