Well Jaybee is right most owners are all for their bikes, Im no exception really I like Kawasaki, but for pure reliability Hondas are hard to beat, every year each brand brings the bar up a notch, I dont think you can go wrong with any of them anymore.
And BTW you left out Can-AM on that list which is also a great quad just out of my price range heh

Like it was said most people bought the ATV that they thought was the best. Look at them all they are all good they have to be or they would not sell. Find the one that fits you best and there is your answer. The best to me was the Yamaha Grizzly 700 but it might not be for you. Do your homework and you will make the right choice.

Get educated on what features come with various machines. Then decide what features are important for you. Available features on different machines include fuel injection, independent rear suspension, mega ground clearance, auto tranny, full locking front diff, good 3 or 4 wheel down hill engine braking, liquid cooling, low range tranny, linked or non-linked brakes, disc brakes, mega horsepower, and on & on.
Do not overlook Polaris, AC, and CA. For many riders these are excellent choices. Skip anything made in China.

None. ATV's are dangerous!
But if you really must subject yourself to death and dismemberment the Honda Rancher is your best value today. With over one million ranchers sold world-wide what other proof do you need?

I have a Rancher and must say its a very good machine. My vote is for Honda. You see a lot of old Hondas here in Newfoundland running very strong after many many years of abuse.

There is not a "BEST" machine. All have their + & - points. There is a best for each person machine though.

In that case, my "BEST" machine is a Polaris 500 X2 EFI.
1) I'm fat - It has plenty of power to pull me up the hills and down light trails.
2) I'm lazy - It's an auto (I ain't changin' no gears, electronically or otherwise - take that Honda)
3) I'm slow - Just not interested in doing 137 through the desert or down the highway on two wheels.
4) I have kids - Slap them on the back and they're happy for a little while.
5) I'm loyal - This is the third Popo I've have since 1999.
6) I'm not worried about machine weight - actually the heavier the better.
I'm sure everyone else could up with a similar list for their "BEST".

Hey, the original question was which is better, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha or Kawasaki. The answer is obvious...Polaris...

That's funny, because the only guy I know with a Polaris replaced all wheel bearings and the front differential at 500 miles. But hey, if you keep your expectations very low, that's pretty good. Plus you get a better work-out pushing an 800lb. Polaris than riding a 600lb. Honda, Zuk, Kawi, or Yami.

Just because you know 1 guy with a Polaris makes all Polaris junk?
Maybe he doesn't take care of his atv, what if it was an AC or Suzuki?? would they automatically be junk ?
get a sport quad if you are racing!! utilitys are for working and trail riding! weight doesn't matter much! a smooth ride does! try riding a sport quad over 100 mile days.

I have own a Honda,Yamaha and a Polaris. I like the brand of ATV you just jump on and they run. I was lucky they all did that, next thing you look for is ride comfort, and they sure all do not do that the same.
