I can see how it would be great for dune only guys who run without a skid plate, but for the rest of us who run skid plates I can't see how it would even work.

I just flop mine up on a milk crate that I got for free.....

well I guess if you want to be the one with a decked out ride dragging a milk crate or heavy floor jack around everywhere with you then thats cool. But I figure that when most people go out and ride they would be happier taking something light and easy to use vs a milk crate or jack. most guys I have seen had kick azz rides but use ridiculous looking setups (like milk crates) to do maintanance

picture a ride with the bling and all kinds of extra money poured into it then you look and what throws the whole picture into (redneck mode) is a milk crate or a floor jack out on the dirt or sand. heck in their own shop most guys use whats available but when you ride it sure would be nice to have something that fits your ride better and makes the work easier to do. If I still had my predator I would find a need every time I went for a ride (daily ride maintance ) to make sure everything was in good working order

I just thought it was a cool idea so if you like it then aight but if not thats aight too

caper I also noticed in your sig that you yourself dont have sport quads ( mostly straigh axle with chains) so that wouldnt be as useful to someone with a 4x4 only type quad, I dunno but I do think it is made more for the sport type rides that is why I put it on here cause the last time I went to the dunes I noticed alot of people having issues so I heard of this product and thought most of the guys and gals here might like it

Yes your right..I don't have sand or dunes........But my question is .........Why do you need to lift your quad to do any work to it..........When you get to the trail or dunes........Shouldn't you be ready to go.....................How many riders need to lift the back of there Quad..........Is my question....Sorry for the confusion........Caper...........

Anyone at anytime could have chain issues. Could be testing stuff out like sprockets. Could be changing out rear wheels and testing other ones. There are many reasons and some people like to hill shoot and may have to do maintenance and that would come in handy. I like it. And it takes up a lot less room than a floor jack or a milk crate. We use a jack stand which in essence is the same thing.

well said cynick I apppologize caper if I came off a little gruff I just was on another forum and a guy acted as if I was advertising I live in central missouri and have nothing to gain from the product I just liked it

cynick as for the jack stand you tend to still have to lift it which uses more strength to do

the way this thing seems to work is like a kick stand on a bike you just rock it back and your done seems so simple

on another note I own a polaris ranger and have no use for it but if I every got another sport quad I would get one of them stands

it looks like it has a wide base like the old style hilift bumper jacks you can get for the jeeps

the wider the base the less it sinks I guess

when I got my first atv it was a polaris 400 explorer, then I got a 500 sportsman, then a predator 500

I traded the 400 for the 500 sportsman then I bought the predator, well I have 5 kids so I couldnt hardly go out with all of them so I traded the predator for the ranger and sold the 500 sportsman

I had fun when I went to the dunes but I like trail rides and going to places like Moab Utah
