i have a suzuki ltz 400 with a 440 kit on it . please suguest a good paddle for me to run to get max eficency. thank you very much

My all time favorite are Skat trak extreme haulers. Some will say they don't slide well but if you get used to them they slide just as well as anything else. But for me if you don't feel comfortable with them my second choice would be Sandstars.

You will find many opinions but that is mine.

its hard to go wrong with Skat trak extremes,you could find that 8 paddles may be
a little much unless you +your swingarm, wheelies tend to get to easy with the stock setup,as well what sand are you going to run has some thing to do with it.
there are some kinds of paddle tires that i would not get but some times it has to do with how much your able to spend and how often you get to ride sand. becare full of ebay ,i have seen guys pay more for used tires than what they could of gotten then new from a mail order.

Depends on how and where you ride!

First off, I like the buffed down Skat-Traks over the new generation of molded tires. The Skats are way way lighter, and weight of any kind is your enemy in the dunes....especially weight on your wheel.

If you are a drag racer and just want to go fast in a straight line, then one of the straight paddles are great.

If you shoot bowls and do a lot of turns and manuevering, then the V-shaped are the way to go.

On my Z400, I ran 8-paddle Edges and they were superb!

thank you very much i ride at silver lake sand dunes in michigan and only make it there about 5 times a year.

the haulers are the best. but they are kinda spendy, but it depnds if your going to be riding trails at the dunes, hill climbin, or draggin. if you want to hillclimb/drag you'll definatly want some kind of straight blades, for some good cheap ones get AMS sand snakes. if you are wanting more control like turning then get some v-blades, good brand is skat trak.

You should look into Skat Trak Gliders, they are light weight and have a shorter blade height than haulers or extremes, which is good for 400cc machines. I even know a guy that says he's faster in sand with gliders than haulers on a built Raptor 700, so just to give you an idea. Good luck!
