I am kind of new to the sport of ATV riding and was watching the show on speed channel called Epic rides After reading the forums here (i just started today) i see a lot of people trying trying to close down places like Pismo, Glamis and others. On the show at the end the are all sitting around and light a fire made out of old pallets, this would leave nails In the sand that others can run over and get flat tires. I know at Pismo in the rules the give you when you pay to get in it says NO BURNING PALLETS and i am sure it is the same at Glamis. I think this show is very irresponsible to show people that it is OK to use pallets, are they trying to get people to do it so they will close it down? People need to let them know that it is not OK to do this.

Let's call it what it is STUPID
I started going back to the dunes after a 18 year break don't know what I was thinking
But I make it a piont to take as much as possible clean wood out to the Dunes or any where we now go riding
At first my buddys gave me a rash but I am more than happy to bring clean fire wood
It is no different than getting the season permit for the Dunes
Matters not what the money is spent on for i know it is spent on getting a bunch of magnets to pick up nails put dodn by Stupid people
Same with trash
I/We haul out what we haul in +
As for the nails I average about 1 tire replacment every 2-3 trips thank you Stupid people
But I try not to complain just have fun and avoide Stupid people
Just mu opinion I will shut up now

I KNOW. I RIDE GLAMIS ALL THE TIME> THIS EXACT THING HAPPEND TO ME IT *****ING SUCKED! RIDING ALONG AND ALL THE SUDDEN POP> SOME ASS BARRIED THERE FIRE.
