Im planing a trip to silver lake and was wondering what gearing to run on my 01 raptor?Im using 20,s kenda trakkers.I have stock gearing right know.Im around 180 pounds.My quad has a supertrapp exhaust with a k@n filter/Jetted.

I would bring a 1 tooth smaller up front, try them both out see what you like best, but stock gearing would be fine.

well, actually i have the same quad as you dude and i ran it bone stock for a while and i had no problem. but make sure to stay in that power band when your climing those hills. i actually go up there about every weekend u may or may not see me look for a big guy on a 660

I just got back from silver lake before the big weekend and I think next time Im going to try 12/42 gearing for the hill climbs.I wasnt happy with 12/40 gearing I had to down shift a lot.
