I just sold my YFZ 450 to the park ranger for Sand Hollow sand dunes, in southern UT. I had $10,000 into it (it's fast ), so he is definitely stepping up from his old 400 EX. Just a friendly reminder for people that come to these dunes to have their registration current, because I don't think you're outrunning it, LOL. I'm still not sure it was a good thing to sell it to the ranger, but its done now. Here are a few pictures.

You know, these park rangers might have fast quads, but they sure don't know how to ride them Last summer I was up at Saint Anthony and we were just chilling in the parking lot when we noticed two rangers loading up their quads for the day. One had a brand new Grizzly, the other a brand new Rapter LE. The trailer was a tip loader and the ranger on the Raptor lost control and flew off the trailer smacking into the back of their 2006 Dodge pick up. We couldn't stop laughing. He demolished the tailgate and totally lost his ego

I would think with all the riding he will be doing he would have opted for something a little more comfortable. That YFZ will beat him up in no time...
