I ride a raptor 734, I mostly ride the dunes at sand mountian on weekends, I also like to ride the trails behind the mountian as well as the trails across the hwy. back by the bombing range.

I am also up for ridding other areas, willing to travel up 100 miles to ride.

so if any one is interested please let me know

We live in Spring Creek and we go to Winnemucca quite a bit cause it's close to us. It's only a 2 hour drive, plan on making a day trip there before Spring Break. I need to break in my new build, if your interested we will let you know when we go.

That sounds good, either me or my wife will contact you when the time gets closer. It also depends on me getting my bike done in time, which I should when all my parts show up.

How long have you lived in Fallon? I have a friend here who comes from there and his parents still live there. They have been there for about 30yrs or so.

I was just out at Sand Mountain today on my Raptor and Grizzly -- the sun was bright and I couldn't see the contours of the sand. It made for a really crappy, slow time riding. Does anyone have any definitive solution for the type of goggle I need so I can see? Thanks much!

The Oakley irridium lens is the best on the market! the lens cost about $35 or $65 for the goggles.

Okay...so is it a dark lens? Light sensitive? Polarized? What makes those goggles/lenses the best for sand?

they are just a little darker, but the UV protection is better and the glare is almost zero. the best way to see the differance is go to reno motor sports on mill and terminal way or michael's yamaha on s. virgina and compare them to a regular pair of tented lenses. as for how they are in the sand, I have never found any goggles that out perform the oakley irridiums.
