Still running OEM tires on my Ozark but the back tires are starting to get naked. They were never good in snow over 3" deep. Otherwise, no complaints. Would like new rear tires that still handle well but would also do a better job in the snow. Don't want to have to rob a bank to pay for them either.

Even thought about buying a second set of rims to mount "snow" tires on but that may not make good sense. I don't know.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I just mounted the Swamp Lites on my Timberwolf, tried them this weekend on a very rough rocky terrain and mud trail.

got carisle stryker on the back of my 2x4 goes good in snow up to 18" then it starts to high side. in deeper snow i turn the tires backwards to stay on top of the snow insteed of digging in. to much traction for me they push the front tires.

We have 2 Ozarks. After wearing out the stock tires, we replaced the rear tires with Kenda Bear Claws on one of them and Maxxis Sur Traks on the other.

The Sur Traks would be a good snow tire because they are reversible. Mud/dirt mounted one way and Sand/Snow mounted the other way. The Bear Claws are a bit heavier than the Sur Traks. The Sur Traks are better in the snow than the Stock tires. I think they were about $60 each.

bearclaws work great in the snow I have them on my old 250 yamaha 2wd and I can go anywhere I went with no snow, except up the steepest hill around where I ride, it struggles with me on it with no snow, so if I slip on the snow thats it time to back down.
